It proposes courses which lead to diplomas, especially post-graduate diplomas. With the European harmonization of courses (LMD), our DESS, and DEA are in the process of being renamed MASTERS. Regular training and apprenticeship for young students in the continuity of their studies, without professional experience, in-house post-graduate training for people who already have a certain experience in the working world who wish to improve their skills (these programmes are created so that managers and executives do not have to give up their job during the course), international programmes organised in France for French-speaking or non French-speaking students (lessons in English) or even abroad thanks to the partnerships we have with other international Universities. Regular Courses Directly available for students wanting to continue their studies without any work experience, these diplomas are offered over one school year (this course can be completed in more than one year for students financing their studies by working. The courses on offer are: MASTER Administration des Entreprises - Spécialité Administration des Affaires MASTER Recherche - Organisation Appliquée MASTER Recherche - Sciences de la Décision et Management des Risques DOCTORAT en Sciences de Gestion Apprenticeship Courses This is a course which is proposed to students under the age of 26 who want to continue their studies while working in a company as a block-release training/sandwich course basis; thus directly inserting them into the world of work. The student signs a contract with a company, putting him on the payroll. He is also enrolled at university. The sandwich course is organised according to the different courses on offer: usually the programme alternates sequences of lessons at the IAE and periods in the company over a period of several weeks. From the 2005-2006 academic year with the LMD reform, the IAE will propose seven specialised MASTERS (M2) Each one of these MASTERS (M2) being able to welcome 25 students who will also be apprentices in a company. Around fifty places will also be proposed to students in M1. This first year of MASTERS will be devoted to the acquiring of the fundamentals of management and will enable the students to choose their speciality in M2. The IAE also proposes a Commercial Licence DISTECH. The courses on offer are: MASTER Administration des Entreprises - Spécialité : Gestion des Dynamiques Organisationnelles M1-MASTER Management des Organisations (M1) MASTER Information and Knowledge Systems Engineering and Management (IKSEM) Master Management SIC ( Knowledge and information systems ) MASTER Ressources Humaines et Responsabilité Sociale de l'Entreprise (M2 Management ) MASTER Marketing et Pratiques Commerciales (M2 Management) MASTER Finance (M2 Management ) MASTER Trésorerie d'entreprise (M2 Management ) Master of Science in Control and Auditing Licence Professionnelle Commerce et Distribution - DISTECH In-house post-graduate training courses These diplomas, aimed at people who are already working, are programmed so that the students concerned can study without interrupting or jeopardising their professional work. Whole-day monthly seminars are proposed on given dates; some of the diplomas are also proposed after working hours (evening classes and Saturdays). All of these courses are available in the in-house training courses: Training Plan (PF), Personal training leave (CIF), as well as a personal initiative. This file is attached to the application forms for each course. (see the list above). Please contact the respective secretary. Validation of acquired experience (decree 2002) concerns candidates who wish to get part or the whole of a diploma without following the course. Courses in English In order to enable non French-speaking students to follow lessons on management in at the IAE, the fundamental lessons for the MASTER of Business Administration will be proposed in English as from September 2005. In a partnership with the Robinson College of the Georgia State University (USA) and the COPPEAD Business School of the University of Rio (Brazil) the IAE offers a MBA which will take place in the 3 partner countries as well as in Peking and Shanghai. The courses on offer are: International MBA (MASTER Management International) Global Partners MBA MASTER Information and Knowledge Systems Engineering and Management (IKSEM) Courses abroad As a partner of many Management schools throughout the world, the IAE actively supports a relocation of its diplomas.
